Terms of Service
Last updated 27 October 2026
These terms apply to the Sehala website at sehala.my, the web app and the Android app ("Sehala"). By creating an account or using Sehala you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Sehala.
Drive safely and obey the law
Always follow traffic laws, road signs and speed limits. Do not use the app in a way that distracts you while driving; set your route before you move. Performance timing is for closed circuits and other places where it is legal and safe. Never race or speed on public roads. You are responsible for how you drive.
Information is an estimate
Directions, speed limits, toll and fuel costs, car specifications and timing results come from GPS, map data and other sources that can be wrong or out of date. Use them as a guide only. Sehala is not a certified timing or measuring device.
Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app.
Your content
You own the photos, posts and other content you add. You give Sehala permission to store and show it as needed to run the service, including to other drivers when you share or post it. You must have the right to upload what you add.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- post anything illegal, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit or that infringes others' rights;
- harass, impersonate or spam other drivers;
- submit fake timing results or road reports;
- try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to Sehala or other accounts.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Availability and changes
Sehala is provided free and "as is". Features may change, pause or stop, and we do not promise the service will always be available or error-free.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Sehala is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service, including accidents, traffic fines, or decisions made from information shown in the app.
Privacy
How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and continuing to use Sehala means you accept the updated terms.
